Technical data

Lumon glass terraces are of a solid construction. The terrace will not warp or dilate, but will stay intact for decades to come. The glass terrace system has horizontal sliding beads fixed on the floor and roof structures. The glass units, framed with sash profiles, slide between the beads.

The glass pane is made of 4 mm or 6 mm toughened glass or alternatively of laminated glass. We recommend toughened glass for glass terraces, as it requires a sharp blow before it breaks. If toughened glass breaks, it crumbles into small, harmless fragments that do not pose a serious risk of injury.

The profiles are polyester powder coated. Standard colours include white RAL 9010, graphite RAL 7024, natural aluminium RAL 9006 and brown RAL 8019. The plastic parts are either light grey or black. The fittings are light grey RAL 9006.

We use stainless steel fixtures in glass terraces.

As standard, glass terraces can be locked from the inside. A door next to a wall or a solid post can be equipped with an ABLOY lock. ABLOY locks are delivered with a CLASSIC key cylinder. A locksmith can replace the cylinder with an EXEC cylinder which can be keyed to your master keying system.

The glass terrace system can be equipped with aluminium sun-protection louvres. The louvres can be fixed or movable, and they can be fitted either inside or outside the door units.
