Opening the panes

Turn the lower latch clockwise. Open the glass pane. Slide the other glass panes to the side. Open the glass panes.

Stacking the panes

Slide the cord lock into the lower bead of the pane that was opened last. Tighten the cord.

Closing the panes

Release the panes from the cord lock. Turn each pane onto the sliding bead. Slide the pane into place. Ensure the gaps between the panes are equal.

Child-proof lock (optional)

The lower latch is also available with a lock.

Ventilation

Lock the first pane so that it remains slightly open, as shown in the picture. To ensure good ventilation, move the other panes so that there is a narrow gap between them. The child-proof lock (optional) does not work in the ventilation position.

Washing and maintenance

Open all panes. Clean the uppermost pane from the outside. Slide the panes one by one onto the sliding bead. Wash the pane from the inside. Wipe the aluminium parts with a damp cloth; use ordinary domestic detergents. Lubricate the plastic parts once or twice a year with silicone oil.

Note! When cleaning coated glass panes, be careful not to scratch the surface. Lubricate the Activ glass panes with Teflon-based lubricants; do not use silicone-based products.
